§ 58-141. Authority, adoption, and jurisdiction.

(a)

This article is adopted under the authority granted to the county under Section 59.70(6), Wis. Stats. and NR 845.06, Wis. Adm. Code.

(b)

This article is subject to the provisions of Chapters NR 811, 812, and 845, Wis. Adm. Code, and Section 160.07 and Chapter 280, Wis. Stats., which statutes, rules and regulations are incorporated by reference and made part of this article.

(c)

Failure to comply with any of the provisions of this article and incorporated statutes, rules and regulations shall constitute a violation of this article, actionable according to the penalties provided in this article.

(d)

This article applies to all private water systems, as they relate to well abandonment and drillhole abandonment, within Fond du Lac County, including all cities, towns, villages and sanitary districts in the county.
