§ 58-99. Reconnections to existing POWTS.

The owner of a structure shall provide the verification specified in section 58-98(a) and (b) to the code enforcement officer if the owner applies to a township for any of the following:

(1)

Construction of a structure to be connected to a POWTS;

(2)

Disconnection of a structure from an existing POWTS and reconnection of another structure to the same system; or

(3)

Reconstruction of a structure that is connected to a POWTS and that has become uninhabitable due to damage resulting from fire, wind, natural or manmade disasters.

Subsections (1), (2) and (3) shall require a sanitary permit for reconnection.

Documentation shall be provided per section 58-98(a) and (b).

Determinations of approved documentation shall be in the form of a sanitary permit or in writing.
