§ 58-69. Citations.

Whenever a violation of this article occurs, the code enforcement officer may issue a citation for violation of this article, pursuant to section 1-9. He/she may also, or as an alternative, institute or pursue other appropriate legal action, including summons and complaint to compel the alleged offender to appear in court, or injunctive order. Such appropriate legal action shall be taken by the corporation counsel upon request of the code enforcement officer.
