§ 48-6. Interpretation; conflict with other ordinances.

  • (a)

    Interpretation and application of provisions in this chapter shall be held to be the minimum requirements for the promotion of the public health, safety and general welfare.

    (b)

    Provisions of this chapter are not intended to conflict with, interfere, abrogate or annul any other ordinance, rule or regulation, statute or other provision of the law. In review of conflicting regulations or other provisions of the law, whichever provisions are more restrictive or impose higher standards shall control.
