§ 34-33. Sheriff's discretion.

Upon making an application desiring deputy reserve deputies to be in attendance at an event, the sheriff shall determine the minimum amount of deputies required to be in attendance in order to properly maintain peace and order. The sheriff shall have absolute discretion in making this determination. When the event is located at a county facility, the amount of deputies in attendance shall be in compliance with that facility's policies or ordinances.
