§ 30-127. Fees.

  • (a)

    Permit fees. Permit fees shall be established by the Fond du Lac County Board of Supervisors upon resolution from the Fond du Lac County Board of Health to cover the cost of issuing permits, making investigations, inspections, sampling, providing education, training and technical assistance to the establishments, plus the cost required to be paid to the state for each permit issued. A separate pre-inspection fee will be required of new establishments or existing establishments for which a person intends to be a new owner. A retail food establishment re-inspection fee shall be required if a violation of Wis. Stats. Ch. 97, or Wis. Admin. Code § ATCP 75, is found on a regularly scheduled inspection.

    (b)

    Renewal fees. Failure to pay renewal permit fees and applicable late fees by July 15 constitutes "operating without a license" and will be subject to establishment closure and section 3-130, violation and penalties.
