§ 22-31. General provisions.

(a)

Regulation of sales and solicitations for sales. Except hereinafter provided, no person shall sell, keep or offer for sale any tangible or intangible articles, merchandise or things or solicit for any trade, occupation, business, profession or alms within or upon county-owned properties unless he/she has registered with the office of the county purchasing/risk management agent or the county executive.

(b)

Posting of signs. The county buildings and supply committee shall direct the posting of signs in prominent places on county-owned property, which signs shall inform the public of the existence of this article and where a copy of this article may be obtained.

(c)

Penalty. Any person violating any of the provisions of this article shall, upon conviction, be subject to the provisions of section 1-8.
