§ 18-126. Definitions.

The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this article, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:

Aeronautical services means any service that involves, makes possible or is required for the operation of aircraft, or which contributes to or is required for the safety of such operations.

Airport means the Fond du Lac County Airport.

FAA means the Federal Aviation Administration.

Minimum standards means the qualifications established herein by the airport owner as the minimum requirements to be met as a condition for the right to conduct an aeronautical activity on the airport.

(1)

Minimum standards for a person based upon and engaging in one or more aeronautical services at the airport.

(2)

Requirements for all flying clubs based at the airport.

(3)

Penalties for violation of the minimum standards herein provided.

Operator means any person providing any one or combination of aeronautical services to or for aviation users at the airport.

Owner means Fond du Lac County.
